The ASHI Mentorship Program provides valuable guidance to emerging or less experienced home inspectors so they can excel in their profession.
Novice home inspectors are matched with experienced counterparts who generously volunteer as mentors. By fostering these connections, the program strengthens relationships among members nationwide. This spirit of friendship is at the core of ASHI’s foundation.
As a mentee under the Ohio Chapter of ASHI MentorConnection Program, you will gain insights from local experts, forge connections within the ASHI community, and navigate challenges with confidence.
As a mentor, you will Earn 5 CE credits annually, receive a digital badge for recognition, and play a vital role in elevating the home inspection profession.

Home inspection requires its own set of professional guidelines and qualifications. The ASHI Standards of Practice play a crucial role in establishing this field as a recognized profession. As part of the association, all members are required to adhere to ASHI’s Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. This benefit is only available to Inspectors and Certified Inspectors.

Basic member listing free with membership. You will be listed in the members section in random order. Your listing will be similar to what you have now on the ASHI website. Super Listing or Microsite; you will have a 1-2 page listing that we optimize for search
Program Cost
- Expanded Listing on Ohio ASHI – Power Listing or Microsite.
- Anyone who signs up at the Expo the cost will be $65 per month for the first 6 months.
- Regular price is $95 per month. If paid for a year in advance the price will be $75.00

ASHI’s website, www.ashi.org, is an inclusive source of information concerning the home inspection profession. Membership Advancement
The Ohio Chapter of ASHI membership has three levels: Member, Inspector, and ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI). We encourage members to move up the ranks of membership to become an ACI. This distinguish members within ASHI and externally to clients and earns third-party accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
Report Verification
Ohio Chapter of ASHI Members can access the ASHI Verification portal where expert verifiers review reports to ensure compliance with the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. Report verifications is an important step to advance ASHI membership to higher levels. Some states require verified reports for state licenses, many of which accept ASHI’s verification.
